Shadydale Elementary School analyzed its STaR Chart data to identify strengths and weaknesses in instructional technology. The data showed the campus was developing in technology integration from 2006-2009. Two computer labs were available with internet access, and teachers used smart boards. The campus was improving use of data to drive instruction and providing interventions. Most teachers incorporated technology to support higher-order thinking skills and collaboration, although continued professional development was needed. The goal was to reach the highest level of technology integration, target technology, within three years.
